Good morning and guess what: as an early riser I had a lovely time with my coffee and some magazines this morning whilst waiting for more daylight in order to take today's photos. So much for planning ahead 😂 (see yesterday's post)… So here we go: I like these felt bowls because they display a warm feel and therefore look especially great during the winter season. And whenever they are not needed, you can simply take off the leather knot, put them flat away and they hardly take up any space. All you need is some square piece of thick felt – I used approx. 30 x 30 cm for the taller one (see DINA3 details) and 21 x 21 cm (see DINA4 details) for the smaller size. 2 x 30 cm leather or similar strong string, some tall sharp scissors and some small but pointy ones. Simply measure and mark your piece of felt according to the pattern (if you would like to receive my template, send me an email – address in bio), cut up your felt and decide whether you want round ends or sharp corners. Use your small pointed scissors to make wholes for your leather string. Cut up your string & double it up. Make a knot (see pics) and pull string through the felt. Use the knot to hold both parts of the felt together. That's it. I like to use my felt bowls for crochet projects or use as containers for other craft projects, but they are also lovely as a gift or gift container. What would you use them for? . . . . #becreativeeveryday #sundaydiy #felt #leather #diygift #handmade #handmadewithlove #christmasiscomingsoon #christmascrafts #crafts #crafty #christmasdiygift #diychristmas #diytutorial #diyproject #doityourself #makersgonnamake #advent #scandi #weihnachtsgeschenk #baldistweihnachten #filz #selbermachen #handgemacht #basteln #mitliebegemacht❤️ #mitliebeverschenkt #kuestenwindkreativ
